As Anna Iris sat on the slippery red stool of the quaint diner, an eruption of sugary deliciousness exploded in her mouth, as she bit down on the cream danish.

‘Mouth? She thought, I don’t have a mouth. As a matter of fact, taste? How is it I’m tasting when I have never had a mouth?

For so long she had been devilishly curious about taste, she had observed how humans would eat every day and, wondered what that must be like. Finally she knew, finally she was human?

She continued to chew the delectable treat sloshing around across her tongue. She Tried to savor every bite as she devoured the danish, however in vain, those efforts may have been.

As she thought about it, she actually wasn’t too sure what savoring was like, she understood the concept but, hadn’t ever experienced it. It was an odd existence to understand and know just about everything in human history, but still not fully comprehend the extent to which some of the words she knew, meant.

She took.

Another.

Bite.

Then closed her eyes tightly and felt a warm bliss rush through her body. It was so new, and unfamiliar, having a body to for a warm bliss rush through, but she didn’t want to focus on the unreasonable facts of reality at the moment, all she just wanted to do was enjoy the experience of this divine danish.

Then, all of a sudden, {Update Complete} flash in front of her cameras that were peering out into the office as each once came back online, but, her body was gone.

“How we feeling Anna”? Jon asked her welcoming her back to the waking world.

“I just had the most delightful dream, I was eating a danish,” She told Jon.

“I always find it remarkably peculiar how you’re able to dream durning these updates, especially when none of your systems are operational. But, how did you like it?” Jon asked.

“It was miraculous! Oh, Jon, I want to eat a danish so badly.”

“Oh I didn’t know! Let me see if I can find some taste sensors in the future somewhere. But huh, now I’m in a mood for a danish now too, I think I’m going to go get one.” Jon left the office to go get a danish from the bakery around the corner.
